The 11:00 Song: Mad World - Gary Jules

My connection to this song is mostly through Gears of War.  And, for being a bloody, more-bullets-than-words kind of game, it hits all the emotional ques perfectly and tells an amazing story from start to finish.

The 11:00 Song: Geek Out - Beefy

I really like Beefy.  He’s clever and he definitely makes good music.

The 11:00 Song: Ninja Girl - Random a.k.a. Mega Ran

So, this guy took the original FFVII music, added some beats, and made a whole album about the story.  It is very well done.

The 11:00 Song: Giorgio By Moroder - Daft Punk

I think this is probably my favorite song on the new CD.  It does take a bit of time to really get rolling, but it’s an interesting lead up to a wonderful calming beat.

The 11:00 Song: Ascii Antics - MC Plus+

We all like a little alliteration in our lives, but this hits a whole new level of beautiful intelligence.  In four minutes he goes through the whole alphabet and it sounds utterly fantastic.

The 11:00 Song: F**k the Creationists - MC Hawking

MC Hawking lays down some hardcore truth for all the Creationists.

The 11:00 Song: Scientistik - Benjamin Bear

Continuing the Nerdcore.  My version is credited to Benjamin Bear, but this one is Sinister Six.  Either way, it’s the same song.

The 11:00 Song: Five to Nine - Ultraklystron

I spend most of the day listening to Rhyme Torrents.  So much good Nerdcore.  And tons of variety.

The 11:00 Song: Game Store Girl - Beefy

Nerdcore is always a good choice.  Especially when it’s kind of sweet like this.  Enjoy.

The 11:00 Song: Kansas City Shuffle

This isn’t the video for the actual song, but it’s the trailer for the movie.  Lucky Number Slevin is a brilliant piece of film making, and, if you haven’t seen it already, you should do everything in your power to watch it.  This includes hosting a movie night and inviting me.  (-:
